Alliance Mobilization Guide and the R4/R5 Leadership Playbook

Every system in Whiteout Survival eventually routes through an alliance: Bear Hunt needs a trap, Foundry needs 40 registered players, Castle needs an army, and state transfers move whole alliances at once. This alliance guide is written for the two audiences who decide whether that works — the members running Mobilization tasks, and the R4/R5 officers running everything else.
01Alliance Mobilization — task strategy
- Format: a 6-day, monthly task event. You draw personal tasks, complete them for personal points plus alliance league points.
- Task quality is the game: tasks come in blue / purple / gold tiers, and gold tasks are worth a multiple of blue ones. The core reroll discipline: reroll low-value tasks you’re not already positioned to finish, and never burn rerolls in the first hour when your task board is still flexible.
- Take tasks you were already going to do. A gold “train troops” task during a troop-scoring week is double value; the same task forcing off-plan spending is a trap wearing a gold border.
- Coordinate at alliance level: officers should post which task types the alliance is short on daily. League placement is a team score — ten members optimising alone lose to forty members optimising together.
- Late-event discipline: in the final 24 hours, complete what’s completable and stop drawing. Unfinished tasks at the buzzer score nothing.
02Run the event calendar like a timetable
The full answer to “how to run an alliance as R5” is mostly scheduling. Bear Hunt every ~48 hours — run two traps so both time-zone halves of the alliance can attend, and make the Explosive Arrowhead donation call before every single hunt (the +25% attack bonus resets each time). Foundry registration (30+10) closes before matchmaking; post the roster early. SvS preparation has 5 scoring days with a different currency each day — publish the week’s spend-plan on day zero, not day three.
03Alliance tech: donations with a published priority
Alliance technology (Growth / Territory / Battle trees) is researched from member donations, and members donate more when they can see the plan. Publish the donation priority: Growth first for a young alliance (it compounds everyone’s progress), Battle branches timed to land before SvS battle phase. A visible queue beats a silent one — donation fatigue is usually information fatigue.
04Helps, gifts and the quiet income
Embassy helps shave every member’s timers daily; alliance gifts from member purchases redistribute value across the whole roster — a structural reason mid-spending alliances retain F2P members well. Officers set the norm: helps are a login ritual, not a favour.
05Know the exit and transfer rules before you need them
Leaving and joining interacts with event lockouts — you generally cannot contribute to a new alliance’s events immediately, and state transfer requires leaving your alliance first. The transfer cycle itself runs roughly every 4–7 weeks in three phases (Pre-Transfer 3 days → Invitational 2 days → Open Transfer 2 days), costs 1–50 Transfer Passes by your Transfer Score, and passes can be earned from the Alliance Shop at 150,000 Alliance Tokens (1 per week). Alliances that plan a move together — agreeing the target state, the power cap implications, and the week — arrive intact; alliances that improvise scatter. An R5 who publishes the transfer plan a full cycle ahead is offering the single most valuable service in the game.
06Recruitment that works on a private server
- Recruit on the event calendar: “Bear Hunt twice a day, both time zones, Foundry roster open” is a stronger pitch than power numbers — it tells a migrant exactly what their Tuesdays look like.
- Reserve migration slots before a new State opens. New states open on a fixed rhythm; alliances that pre-register a roster land as an organised bloc on day one, which is when the first Castle races are actually decided.
- Give officers defined jobs: one R4 owns the event calendar, one owns tech donations, one owns recruitment. Named ownership is the difference between an alliance and a chat group.
FAQ
How long is Alliance Mobilization?
▾
Six days, monthly. Points come from personal tasks (blue/purple/gold quality) and feed both personal rewards and your alliance’s league placement.
Should I reroll Mobilization tasks?
▾
Yes — selectively. Reroll low-quality tasks you aren’t positioned to complete; keep tasks that overlap spending or training you already planned.
Can I join a new alliance’s events immediately after switching?
▾
Expect lockouts: event participation typically requires having been in the alliance before the event’s registration/checkpoint. Time moves between events, not during them — and state transfer always requires leaving your alliance first.
